The Department of Children and Education works on behalf of the Preschool Board and Primary School Board. The department is responsible for preschool activities, school childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. Our most important task is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe educational environment. About the School
Vistaskolan is an F–9 school with approximately 810 students. A dedicated and competent staff works here to give our students the best conditions for an inspiring and educational school experience. Our activities are built on respect and trust, where security and study focus are central concepts.
The school is located in pleasant and modern facilities, surrounded by a nature-rich environment, and has a high degree of digitalization. In grades F–6, we work with iPads and in grades 7–9 with Chromebooks as pedagogical tools.
Job Responsibilities
Vistaskolan is now seeking a substitute teacher for a full-time academic year position for the period August 10, 2026–June 16, 2027.
The position involves teaching mathematics, science, and technology in grade 6. The assignment also includes mentoring students in grade 6.
As a teacher with us, you join a competent and dedicated team. The team has, in addition to regular conference time, scheduled joint planning time each week.
Reading, curiosity, and joy of learning are cornerstones in Huddinge Municipality's primary schools. Prioritized development areas are mathematics, language development, and IT. At Vistaskolan, we work with an entrepreneurial approach and use digital tools as a natural part of instruction.
Your Profile
We are looking for you as a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach mathematics, science, and technology for grade 6.
You are a dedicated, curious, and flexible educator who focuses on student learning. You have good collaboration skills and an ease in creating safe and trustful relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
In your pedagogical leadership, you are clear, confident, and positive. You create a work environment characterized by structure, study focus, joy, and respect. With strong didactic competence, solid subject knowledge, and the ability to adapt instruction, you meet each student according to their needs and conditions.
You have a reflective approach and work continuously to develop your teaching. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
