JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The position involves teaching at Frösve and Värsås schools. Both schools are located in the outer areas of Skövde. Frösve School is undergoing renovation and will have a completely new craft workshop. Värsås School has an older but well-equipped craft workshop. In this position, you will: • Plan and conduct lessons in wood and metal crafts for grades 3-6 according to curriculum objectives. • Assess, document, and provide feedback on students' development and adapt teaching based on individual student needs. • Ensure safety and working conditions in the craft workshop (machine operation, tools, material storage). • Collaborate with work teams and the school's student support services, special education teachers, and guardians to promote student learning and well-being. Participate in development work, professional training, and administration related to subject instruction. QUALIFICATIONS • You have strong ability to plan, lead, and structure instruction for students of different ages and varying needs. • You have knowledge of safety procedures, machines, and materials within wood and metal crafts. You have a pedagogical approach and can adapt teaching so that all students have the opportunity to succeed. • You build positive relationships with students and guardians. • You are confident in assessing and documenting students' knowledge development. • You collaborate well with colleagues, student support services, and guardians and contribute to a professional and positive work climate. • You communicate clearly in speech and writing and have strong digital competence. • You are a certified teacher in wood and metal crafts or have other relevant education and experience.
