ABOUT THE JOB We are now seeking a teacher for the Industrial Technology Program. Welcome to Tannbergsskolan, Southern Lapland's leading education center with a broad range of upper secondary education, ski gymnasium (RIG), adult education, and adapted school for youth and adults. The Industrial Technology Program offers students a comprehensive education where theory is combined with practical work. Students learn to work with manufacturing, production control, quality assurance, welding, maintenance, and repair. The education leads to a professional degree with a focus on CNC operator or welder. You will be part of the team in the Industrial Technology Program where you work closely together with a shared interest in further developing the program. An important part of the work is also to build good relationships with industrial companies in the local area. The position can potentially be combined with other subjects depending on your specific subject combination. We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher with vocational teacher certification or alternatively have solid experience/education with corresponding competence in welding, machine and production technology, and CNC. We would like to see that you have good knowledge of cutting machining. Experience from pedagogical work is a merit. It is important that you have good social competence, the ability to create motivation and interest and learning for students, and good conduct toward both students and guardians as well as colleagues. You should have good teamwork skills and willingness and interest in collaborating within the team and with the industrial sector.
