Teacher for the Construction Program
We are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable teacher for the Building and Construction Program with a focus on Carpentry or Masonry (ideally both, but if the focus is masonry, you should still have broad knowledge in construction to be able to support and teach students in fundamental construction concepts).
You will teach students in both theory and practice and work closely with other teachers in the construction program. We therefore welcome that you have broad construction expertise and are willing to assist in the construction hall when needed, and are flexible, collaborative, and enjoy working as part of a team. As a teacher, you conduct yourself in a way that makes you a role model for participants, sharing your professional expertise both theoretically and practically.
Movant AB works with practical vocational training for adults, competence development, and labor market assignments. On behalf of several municipalities, we conduct practical vocational training for adults.
Formal Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with pedagogical experience who works or has worked as a carpenter or mason and holds a vocational certificate. You enjoy working in groups, and it is important that you have the ability and willingness to develop people by sharing your professional knowledge. We welcome experience in training or leading work and having good knowledge within your specialization, both theoretically and practically. The work also includes arranging apprenticeship placements for students and following up with our partner companies.
A teaching degree and teaching experience are meriting qualifications.
Your personality is characterized by good collaboration skills and flexibility. You have the ability to build good relationships with everyone you meet in your work. As an educator, you give participants strong confidence in their abilities to together achieve individual and collective goals. You promote a learning and innovative climate and are careful to provide participants with feedback on their results. Quality and good values are important principles for you.
B-class driving license required
