Some of the students attend Östbyskolan's preparatory class for newly arrived students. The school currently has students with approximately 25 different mother tongues. We collaborate with several educational institutions to draw on current research. About the Job Do you want to work at a unit with skilled educators and wonderful students? One of Östbyskolan's employees is moving on to a new assignment, and we are therefore seeking a teacher qualified to teach Sv-So, preferably with expertise in the Sva subject. Your primary task is to work with colleagues to challenge students in their learning and support students in their knowledge development toward established goals. You will share responsibility for students in a grade level together with an experienced colleague. In addition to planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction, you will work with colleagues in your team to develop the school based on our prioritized development areas. Who Are You You are a certified teacher qualified to teach grades 4-6, preferably also grades 1-3. Your ability to build good, trusting relationships with students is essential. We seek someone who is well familiar with the subjects' purposes, competencies, and assessment criteria and is well versed in the school's knowledge perspective and values-based mission. You have good knowledge and expertise in digital and formative learning processes. You have the ability to motivate and create situations that contribute to meaningful learning and accessible learning environments characterized by inclusion, variation, and participation. You have the ability to see and meet each student, build on what works, and provide broad guidance and stimulation in instruction. You see opportunities in close collaboration with others. Your learning in collaborative learning is a matter of course. You reflect on and analyze your own instruction as a natural part of your practice. You have excellent ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are communicative and creative.
