We are looking for an additional colleague at Vallonskolan in Östhammars municipality, located in the Gimo school area, which is a grades 4–9 school in the Gimo school area. A school area that is adjacent to forest and nature as well as cross-country ski trails and a swimming hall. Vreta and Vallonskolan as well as adapted primary school in Östhammars municipality is a creative and developing workplace where we offer students a developing education through grades F–9. The position is a substitute for our SV/SO teacher who will be on parental leave. Approximately 450 students attend the two school forms of Vreta and Vallonskolan, primary school and adapted primary school. In the activities of Vreta and Vallonskolan as well as adapted primary school, we have common goals and approaches where the work is based on a common annual cycle linked to Lgr22 and Lgra22. Teaching is based on a scientific foundation and proven experience, and with support from research, clear and relational leadership is important for all students' learning and knowledge development, inclusion and well-being. In our operations, we work with promoting and preventive student health work and we have high expectations for students and colleagues. We are looking for someone who enables all students' learning and development and you will join one of the operations' work teams where you will meet committed and positive colleagues. Your ability to lead students' knowledge development and collaborate with colleagues is central. 1 position(s). DUTIES The position is a substitute for our SV/SO teacher who will be on parental leave. The substitute involves teaching and mentorship at the upper secondary level at Vallonskolan, a mentorship for our students in grade 7 who study according to the primary school curriculum. The position involves teaching for grades 6-9 as well as mentorship for grade 7. When you work as a teacher and mentor with us at Vreta and Vallonskolan as well as adapted primary school in Östhammars municipality, you become part of a unified school area, a safe platform in your everyday life. We plan and develop our activities together and work to challenge and support each student so that they all have good conditions to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future. QUALIFICATIONS You who are applying are a certified teacher for upper secondary education (grades 6-9) with qualifications for teaching SV, SVA and SO in primary school. Alternatively, you have a pedagogical background with experience in teaching and mentorship in primary school. You manage the Swedish language in speech and writing and create good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. You should have good IT skills and have worked in Office 365, Teams and Unikum. You should also have an understanding of how your IT skills can be applied and used in teaching for student learning and development. It is meritorious if you have experience teaching students at the middle level, primary school, upper secondary level or adapted primary school and have been responsible for planning, implementation, analysis and assessment, both formative and summative assessment. It is also meritorious if you have experience leading systematic teaching development, for example in a previous role as a lead teacher, as well as mentoring newly hired teachers. If you have experience with increased collaboration with student health services for promoting and preventive student health work, that is also meritorious. The same applies if you have previously worked with SymWriter. You can manage the Swedish language in speech and writing and are accustomed to written assessments.
