We are now seeking a qualified Swedish Language teacher for a temporary position during the 2026/27 school year with the possibility of extension. The position is full-time (100%) with start as soon as possible in Fall 2026. A probationary period applies for the first 6 months. Job Description You will be part of a team of special educators, special teachers, and subject teachers and will need to work in teams around specific students, but independently when required. In the team, educators help each other with planning, teaching, and students' school day. Class mentorship is part of the position. Who Are You? You hold a Swedish teaching degree in Swedish Language (SvA) for grades 4-6 and Swedish teacher certification. You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to implement curriculum objectives in your work. You have clear leadership and stand strong in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are an engaged and collaborative educator who challenges and stimulates students toward development. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you. You have straightforward and humble communication with guardians and build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You should be positive and collaborative and prepared to be part of an international team. In your role, you teach in Swedish, but among colleagues we primarily speak English but also Swedish. This means you need to be fluent in both languages, both spoken and written.
