In your role as a teacher in grades 4-6, you will teach students who are at the beginning of their middle school years and are developing an increasing ability to take responsibility for their own learning. You create structured and stimulating instruction that gives students good conditions to achieve their learning goals and social development. Together with experienced and dedicated colleagues, you contribute to a safe and well-functioning learning environment where student development is in focus. Job responsibilities include, among other things: • Plan, conduct, and follow up on instruction based on current curriculum guidelines. • Support student knowledge development through varied teaching methods and clear structure. • Assess, document, and provide feedback on student learning. • Create a safe and inclusive environment where students feel motivated and can study effectively. • Work with accommodations and additional support based on individual student needs. • Collaborate within your team and contribute to the school's development efforts. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who works in a structured and goal-oriented manner, with the ability to plan and organize your work with quality. You are stable and handle stressful situations professionally while maintaining a positive attitude. As a person, you are skilled at building relationships and naturally take initiative when working with both students and colleagues, which contributes to an open and trusting climate. You are also collaborative, unpretentious, and have a talent for finding solutions together with others with focus on the common goal. Requirements for the position: • Current knowledge of curriculum guidelines, such as national curricula, course plans, and assessment criteria • Proficiency in Swedish language, both spoken and written • Experience teaching a minimum of 3 years in mathematics, science, and technology. • Extensive experience working as an elementary school teacher, minimum 10 years. • Strong references from previous school leaders (supervisors) from workplaces where you have worked for a minimum of 3 years. We are in need of an experienced teacher with strong references from long-term work in schools.
