Örjanskolan is a Waldorf school located in a beautiful natural setting right by the shore of the Baltic Sea. We have students from preschool through grade 12, and currently have approximately 270 students. In our vicinity, there are many different activities such as Ytterjärna Kulturhus and its park with ponds and greenhouses, and Nibble farm with its agricultural high school. A bus with connections that fit the school's schedule stops right outside. We are now seeking one to two special education teachers for our student welfare team. We are looking for a friendly and professional teacher on a part-time basis of approximately 70-75%, where the employment level is open for discussion. One position is a permanent appointment with a trial employment period, and the other position is a fixed-term appointment. Duties As a special education teacher, you will work in close collaboration with teachers, the student welfare team (EHT), and the principal to create a good, inclusive, and health-promoting study and work environment for our students. Your tasks include providing students with support in their studies, both in groups and individually, as well as assisting and supporting teachers in finding solutions in various teaching situations. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: is a trained teacher with a strong interest in and solid knowledge of special education has additional training that provides practical and theoretical competence in special education as well as knowledge of relevant legislation has experience with or interest in Waldorf pedagogy has experience working with students in need of support has strong commitment to students' learning and development builds good relationships with students has good collaboration skills with colleagues and guardians has well-functioning routines for documentation and follow-up Personal Qualities We place great emphasis on personal abilities and attitudes.
