1 position(s). As one of our colleagues will be on leave, we are now seeking a teacher for after-school care for a temporary position lasting approximately one year. Sundbornsskolan is a grades F–6 school with approximately 160 students and 25 staff members. The school is part of the Svärdsjö school district, which consists of six schools with over 900 students and around 150 staff members. Job Responsibilities As a teacher in after-school care, you are responsible, together with your colleagues, for planning, implementing, and following up on the after-school care's instruction based on the curriculum's goals and central content for after-school care. The assignment includes, among other things: planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction in the after-school care creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where students develop both socially and academically planning and leading break activities, movement, and outdoor activities working together with classroom teachers and other colleagues to provide students with good conditions to reach their full potential working actively with values-based questions and student participation and influence contributing to the school's pedagogical development work and systematic quality work. During the school day, you collaborate with teachers and other professionals to strengthen students' learning and create a cohesive and meaningful school day. Qualifications The role requires: We are primarily seeking someone who is a certified teacher with a focus on after-school care. If no qualified applicants are found, we also welcome someone with other relevant pedagogical education or experience working in after-school care or school. We would like to see that you have strong commitment to children's learning and development and the ability to create safe relationships. Personal Qualities We are seeking someone who is a confident and clear leader with a good ability to create positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues. You collaborate well with others, communicate in a thoughtful and respectful manner, and have a talent for inspiring and motivating students. You take responsibility for your assignment, work in a structured manner, and see possibilities in change and development. You are solution-oriented, contribute to a good work environment, and want to work with your colleagues to develop the after-school care's activities. We place great importance on personal suitability. Desirable Qualifications It is desirable if you have: experience working in after-school care and/or school experience working with students in need of special support, for example as a resource person or in another pedagogical role knowledge of and experience working with NPF experience planning and implementing adjustments and creating inclusive learning environments Terms of Employment The position is a temporary contract for the school year 2026/2027 with an employment period of approximately one year. Start date is by agreement. There may be an option to request a lower employment rate. Please attach certificates of examination or education to your application.
