Our department currently has over 200 employees. We lay the foundation for lifelong learning by offering secure care and stimulating learning environments. We actively work with guiding interaction and base our approach on children's and students' conditions and their personal abilities. We offer our children and young people meaningful leisure time through our after-school activities. Hidinge School is a K-6 school with approximately 340 students and 35 employees. The school is located near Lanna, about 20 km outside Örebro. The school is organized into four work teams: two teams for K-3, one for grades 4-6, and one for after-school care. Our school strives for high participation and a good work environment where a holistic approach is prioritized. 1 position(s). Duties We are seeking an engaged teacher, preferably in mathematics for grade 5 at Hidinge School. For the right person, we welcome a long-term collaboration and future opportunities within our activities. As a teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction so that students are given the best possible conditions to develop, both academically and socially. You assess students' knowledge, conduct development meetings, and maintain close dialogue with guardians. We believe in close collaboration between teachers, student support services, and other professionals at the school. You will become part of a work team where we help each other, share experiences, and develop instruction together. With us, there is great confidence in the teaching profession. We work with guiding interaction (ICDP) and a solution-focused approach. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: a primary school teacher degree and teaching certification with authorization to teach grades 4–6 (preferably mathematics) or a degree and are awaiting certification good knowledge of the curriculum and school's governing documents good digital competence and experience using digital tools in instruction. It is meritorious if you have experience teaching in primary school and/or training in ICDP (guiding interaction). Experience in mentoring and working with student support services is also meritorious. We are seeking a teacher who is confident in their leadership and builds good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You have high expectations for students, see possibilities rather than obstacles, and enjoy developing instruction together with others. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
