JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Mörsils School operates from preschool class through grade 9, as well as adapted primary school and after-school care. In upper secondary, Mörsils School receives students from other schools in the municipality and currently has approximately 310 students. We are seeking a teacher for instruction in mathematics and science in grades 7-9. In your role as a teacher, you will work together with your team to ensure quality in pedagogical work and development efforts alongside other teachers. Your work includes overall responsibility for students' social and academic development. You are responsible for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and monitoring student learning. In this position, we see you working on instruction, planning, assessment, and subject development together with others in your subject and work team. We see great potential for extending the position. QUALIFICATIONS • We are primarily seeking someone who is a certified teacher in mathematics and science with qualification to teach in grades 7-9. If you have additional subject qualifications, we consider that a merit. • We see that you have good collaboration skills and a respectful demeanor. • You are a strong classroom leader and create a safe learning environment for all students where you have high expectations of yourself, students, and colleagues. • You have structure and organization in your work approach and the ability to work independently, while also valuing collaborative planning and cross-curricular work. • You have strong problem-solving skills and can adapt your work based on student needs. Employment Type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: According to agreement, end date: 2027-01-10. Interviews are held on a rolling basis.
