We are a growing school that will have approximately 200 students by fall. At Katrinebergsskolan, we work with communicative accessibility and language-developing approaches. We are also a PALS school. In Mölndal Municipality's school administration, we work every day to create the best conditions for children's and students' development and lifelong learning. WORK DUTIES In the Little Pre-School Class, we offer an adapted learning environment for children with significant intellectual challenges and cognitive difficulties. Our student group currently consists of eight students who all need special support. You are genuinely interested in how learning takes place and together with the work team you develop a good learning environment for all students. Here we work to see our students every day and meet them where they are. We work to provide students with a safe environment and varied and structured instruction in all our operations. We create good conditions for fostering a love of learning for each individual student. We use many tools that are practical, motor-based, and digital. Our goal is well-being students who have the opportunity to develop according to their own abilities. The position involves work in our little pre-school class together with one additional teacher and five student assistants and one teacher in after-school care. You will have shared mentorship in the pre-school class together with the other teacher. You will work in a work team where you collectively plan, implement, and follow up on students' development according to applicable curriculum documents and the operations' goals. The work team meets regularly to plan, evaluate, and develop the operations. You have continuous contact with guardians and build good relationships with them as well as with colleagues, students, and others. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a certified teacher/special educator/specialist teacher with qualification for work in grades F-3. We see it as a merit if you have experience working in preschool. You have good knowledge of digital tools within the school area and together with your colleagues create a harmonious environment with instruction adapted to students' different needs. You work for cohesion in the work group and are skilled at building relationships and guiding students through new challenges. You are a reassuring and clear leader in the classroom.
