Your new job We are looking for a teacher in after-school care with qualifications in visual arts. The position includes teaching visual arts for grade 6 as part of collaborative work, and this responsibility may expand in the future. In addition to teaching, the position includes collaboration in grade 1 and work in one of our four F–1 after-school units. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to a safe, creative, and developmental environment for students – both during school and in after-school care. As a teacher in after-school care at Tenhults School, you will: Plan, implement, and develop teaching in the after-school program Work creatively with your colleagues to create enjoyable learning that strengthens both students' knowledge and personal development Work closely with teachers and students during school hours to ensure a coherent and supportive learning environment We are looking for someone who is passionate about inspiring and motivating students and who wants to be part of an engaged team working to create the best conditions for our students. Welcome to us The Tenhults school area consists of two F–6 schools: Tenhults School and Ödestugu School. We have approximately 85 staff members and 560 students. With us, we work together to develop independent, secure, and responsible individuals. Tenhults School is a large F–6 school with approximately 510 students, located 15 km from Jönköping city center with good transportation and nature just around the corner. The school will have seven after-school programs. Ödestugu School is a small F–6 school with approximately 50 students, located 28 km from Jönköping city center, beautifully situated in the Ödestugu community. The school has one after-school program. We strive to create an accessible and digital education for all our students. Your expertise We are looking for someone with a degree and certification as a teacher specializing in after-school care and with qualifications in visual arts. If you have not yet received your certification, you are also welcome to apply. Experience working in after-school care and school is a merit. The position suits you if you: Are communicative and have an easy time building relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues Strive to develop each student's abilities, both academically and socially Are flexible and can take overall responsibility for students' development and well-being Have the ability to work both independently and in a team Have good experience documenting your work and are competent in IT and digital tools We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
