Lerum Adult Education offers a wide range of courses and programs in Swedish for Immigrants (SFI), basic and upper secondary adult education, and adapted education for adults. In addition to individual courses in general subjects, we offer programs in healthcare and care, apprenticeships, and vocational higher education. Courses in basic adult education and general subjects are provided through an external education provider. Adult Education has approximately 600 students total. The students in Adult Education form a very heterogeneous group with different backgrounds, conditions, and experiences. This places high demands on your ability to work flexibly and in an individualized manner based on each student's needs. Within healthcare and care education, we offer on-site studies, flexible studies, and validation. As part of the Care and Healthcare College, we conduct mentor training and language representative education. The team consists of four teachers. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES Together with the team, you will be responsible for various educational initiatives for adults in the healthcare and care field, procurement of work placement positions, and development of the assignment. At Adult Education, we offer validation, classroom instruction, flexible and distance courses, mentor training, and language representative education. Lerum Adult Education is certified as a Care and Healthcare College and you will be part of the local steering committee for the Care and Healthcare College. QUALIFICATIONS You are a qualified (licensed) healthcare and care teacher with experience teaching nursing subjects. It is important that you have the ability to motivate students so they succeed in reaching their goals. We are looking for someone who can think creatively and systematically contribute to improved quality in education. You have the ability to individualize and take into account each student's previous experience, needs, conditions, and goals. You are experienced working in digital learning platforms. Since the role involves active dialogue with students, colleagues, your supervisor, and mentors, it is important that you are communicative and enjoy collaboration. You are skilled at cooperating but also at making independent decisions and at building and maintaining relationships with staff at work placement sites. You thrive in an environment that places high demands on responsibility, independence, flexibility, decisiveness, and social competence. Merit qualifications include experience with validation, work placement procurement, language representative education, and CPR. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability for the assignment. You will conduct work placement visits at various facilities within and outside the municipality, which will require that you have a driver's license. Employment type: Fixed-term contract.
