About the Job Do you want to help educate the next generation in forestry at Forest Gymnasium, Forest Economics Gymnasium, and Hunting Gymnasium? The programs Forest Gymnasium, Hunting Gymnasium, and Forest Economics Gymnasium are offered within the Natural Resource Management program with a forestry specialization, where students gain knowledge in modern forestry and digital technology. Theoretical studies are combined with simulator exercises and operation of real machinery on practice grounds and in the forest. Students in the Hunting Gymnasium gain in-depth knowledge in various hunting methods and game management. Students in the Forest Economics Gymnasium gain in-depth knowledge in forest production, forest management, and learn how different forest management approaches affect its value. Forest Gymnasium deepens students' knowledge in forest machinery operation. Our students gain competence to work in forestry as machine operators, forest care specialists, entrepreneurs, or pursue further studies toward forest engineer, forest technician, game manager, wildlife officer, or other higher education programs. We are now looking for someone with both practical and theoretical knowledge in forestry. The operations include upper secondary schools in forestry, transport, construction machinery, and nature tourism. Älvdalens Utbildningscentrum is located near Dalafjällen and the Vasaloppet arena, and the area offers excellent opportunities for outdoor activities, hunting, and fishing. A probationary employment period applies. Start date by agreement.
