The Preschool and Elementary School Administration is one of Varberg Municipality's largest administrations with close to 2,200 employees. The German teacher position is distributed across the following schools: Bläshammar School, Trönningeskolan, Göthriksskolan, and Väröbackaskolan.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a teacher with us, you have a central role in creating a safe, developing, and motivating environment where we together create the best possible learning experience. By planning, carrying out, and following up on your teaching, you give students the conditions to grow based on their unique needs and goals.

Main responsibilities:
• Teaching in grades 6–9, German at Bläshammar School, Trönningeskolan, Göthriksskolan, and Väröbackaskolan.
• Plan, lead, and evaluate teaching based on curriculum documents and chosen didactic strategies.
• Meet each student in their learning progression and strengthen their creativity, curiosity, and self-confidence through professional leadership.
• Develop stimulating learning environments that encourage learning, participation, and student influence.
• Work toward a holistic view of the student's school day through close collaboration with colleagues and guardians.
• Actively participate in the school's systematic quality work and contribute to a formative approach in daily pedagogy.
QUALIFICATIONS
For us, it is important that you have a genuine commitment to the teaching profession and see it as a meaningful mission to make a difference for children and young people. You are a confident pedagogical leader who with warmth and clarity provides guidance and creates the structure necessary for a safe learning environment. For you, collaboration with colleagues is a prerequisite for success; you work cooperatively to develop the operation together with others.
You are skilled at building relationships and creating trusting contacts with both students and guardians. You have a good sense of the group, are flexible, have didactic ability, and adapt your methods based on students' different needs, learning progression, and state of mind.
We are looking for you who:
• Have teacher certification with authorization to teach German for grades 6–9.
• Have the ability to base your teaching on proven experience and scientific foundation.
• Demonstrate skill in planning and systematically following up on activities based on given guidelines.
• Have good assessment ability to track students' development and provide constructive feedback.
• Have clear planning ability to structure lessons and work areas.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment form: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: August 31, 2026. Start date by agreement.
