Description Önneredsskolan is an F-9 school in western Gothenburg located in a beautiful natural setting with close access to forest and sea. Our proximity to nature gives us the opportunity to offer students diverse environments for enhanced learning. We are a good team that gets along well with our students and their guardians. Our staff group is mixed, with some having worked at the school for many years and others being relatively new. We place great importance on having a good time together and organize many social activities. Responsibilities We are now seeking a teacher to instruct wood & metal craft for grades 7-9. As a teacher at Önneredsskolan, you are passionate about teaching and guiding students toward established goals according to current curricula and syllabi. Your teaching is structured; you follow up on and analyze your teaching and students' results. In your professional role, you are responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment. With us, subject teachers collaborate closely and support each other with lesson planning and assessment to ensure consistency. It is also reassuring and a more enjoyable job when you do it together! Your assignment also includes serving as a mentor. Önneredsskolan 7-9 has six parallel classes in each grade level. We have two mentors in each class, and in our mentoring role we work together to create the best conditions for students to thrive, develop, and feel secure. Staff in each grade level are organized into work teams that meet once a week. Also attending these meetings are support staff and a representative from the school's student wellness team. Qualifications You are a certified teacher with authorization to teach wood & metal craft in grades 7-9. You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents. You have strong knowledge of and enjoy working with digital learning materials in your instruction. As a person, you are receptive and have good collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and parents. You are creative, flexible, and have the ability to take initiative.
