Danderyd Gymnasium is one of Stockholm's largest upper secondary schools with approximately 1,400 students. The school consists of four college-preparatory programs (EK, NA, SA, TE) as well as a small adapted upper secondary school. DUTIES Your responsibilities include: • Teaching Swedish at all levels. Ideally in combination with history or English. • Collaboration with colleagues both in subject-area teams around classes and in subject teams. • Shared mentorship. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • A valid teaching certification in Swedish for upper secondary school. • Authorization to teach additional subjects, preferably history and/or English. • Strong digital competence. • Good knowledge of the school's mission and policy documents • Excellent ability to express yourself clearly in speech and writing in Swedish. It is meritorious if you have experience teaching at upper secondary level. We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented and collaboration-oriented and who sees the strength in working together toward common goals. You are a secure and clear adult in the classroom who creates structure, trust, and an atmosphere conducive to learning. You handle stress in a constructive way, maintain a good sense of humor even under pressure and setbacks, and feel comfortable in uncertain situations. You also have the ability to quickly find solutions to problems that arise. You have an inclusive approach, build good relationships, and contribute to a positive collaborative climate with both students, guardians, and colleagues.
