The Employment Administration works to promote the municipality's growth by creating conditions for residents to have lifelong learning and be self-supporting. We do this with a focus on skills supply and through coordinated operational services to businesses where we work to address complex societal challenges with innovative approaches. The Administration consists of three departments: Employment, Quality and Coordination, and Campus Trelleborg, and has approximately 100 dedicated employees.

Work Tasks
We are looking for you who have certification as a teacher of Swedish as a second language and can combine this with another subject. As a teacher in adult education in Trelleborg, you and your colleagues create a developmental learning environment for students that provides the best conditions for learning and development. You thrive with adult education's flexibility and work naturally with individualization of teaching according to the curriculum for adult education. You collaborate and cooperate with various roles within the Employment Administration and see skills supply as an important perspective in education.
Together with the principal and other colleagues, you lead and develop teaching for increased goal achievement. You also actively contribute to development and quality work within the unit. Furthermore, you will be part of a teaching team characterized by collegial support, development, and enormous work joy. We consider it self-evident that you are familiar with current educational research while having a good ability to share good examples from your own teaching.
The position consists of distance and classroom teaching. Courses and study formats may vary, depending on student numbers that change over time. Evening teaching occurs.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who has experience in adult education and can plan flexible teaching that suits adult students' conditions and needs. You are well acquainted with the adult education curriculum and national goals. Employment issues are close to your heart and you enjoy planning your teaching based on different study paces and study formats.
For this position, teacher certification with qualifications in Swedish as a second language at upper secondary level is required. Good digital skills and experience with adult learning are merits.
It is meritorious if you have good digital skills and experience with adult learning. It is also meritorious if you have experience working with multilingualism or knowledge- and language-developing working methods, and can demonstrate documented ability to individualize teaching.
You also need to feel comfortable working in operations with high variability. We place great importance on personal qualities.
