Järfälla Lärcentrum is a municipal adult education facility operated in-house. The operation has approximately 1,600 students. The operations consist of SFI, courses at basic and upper secondary levels, vocational training, and adapted adult education at basic and upper secondary levels. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for SFI teachers who are responsible, engaged, and familiar with steering documents. You should be interested in both the student's knowledge development and their individual and social development. As a teacher with us, you have great responsibility for the student's pedagogical and personal development. As a teacher with us, you work in a team based on the clarified responsibility mandate expressed in the curriculum. This means that together with school management and other colleagues, you lead and develop the school's daily operations for increased goal fulfillment. We consider it self-evident that you stay abreast of current research while having a strong drive to systematically highlight and share best practices. As a teacher with us, you will have classroom instruction both during daytime and evenings. You are expected to be able to teach within all study paths (1, 2, 3). You need to have extensive knowledge of the target group's needs and adaptation of teaching methods in relation to these needs. You should be interested in using varied teaching methods both in the classroom and outside. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher with authorization to teach SFI. As a person, you are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. You work well with other people, listen to others' perspectives and competence, and share your own knowledge. Important for this position is also your ability to analyze study results: It is meritorious if you can handle Alvis and Google Classroom as well as smartboard. You should also have experience and knowledge of civic-oriented activities. You should further be able to motivate and coach students toward good study results and positive knowledge development according to national steering documents and have good ability to manage groups with different prerequisite knowledge levels. It is important to have experience with language and knowledge development work methods as well as work and cooperation in a politically managed organization. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
