Within the department, approximately 150 employees work in operations that serve around 1,200 participants in labor market programs and projects and around 3,000 students in adult education. Läroviken is Sandviken Municipality's unit for adult education. Läroviken is responsible for education in Swedish for immigrants, Lärvux, basic education, upper secondary education, vocational education, and post-secondary education. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS You will teach Swedish as a Second Language at a basic level. The position includes on-site teaching with coaching sessions at our educational facilities. Läroviken's adult education has continuous student intake, and we expect you to be responsive, able to adapt and individualize coaching according to students' needs and learning styles. You will work in a team with high ambitions and developed digital learning environments. Läroviken uses varied teaching methods conducted in multiple ways. You need to be prepared for the possibility that operations may change and flexibility is of great importance. QUALIFICATIONS • Teacher certification grades 7-9 • At least 45 credits in Swedish as a Second Language We are looking for someone who is initiative-taking and results-oriented, someone who takes the lead, drives activities forward, and achieves results. You adapt easily to changed circumstances and are quick to adjust both your perspective and working methods when the situation requires it. Collaboration is a natural part of the work, and in interactions with others, communication is characterized by responsiveness and flexibility. Through clear and constructive dialogue, you contribute to resolving conflicts and creating good relationships. You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and the different conditions people face. You adapt your way of conveying messages based on the recipient's needs and thereby create good conditions for learning and development. Employment type: Permanent employment.
