Finningeskolan is a F-3 school with approximately 350 students and 50 staff members. Although we can no longer call the school small, those of us working here strive to maintain the "small-scale format." The school operates four streams for grades F-3 – Villekulla, Junibacken, Lönneberga, and Törnrosdalen. Each stream has its own mixed-age after-school program. This way, children get to know older students and children from other grades, which promotes a sense of security. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The position is divided between Swedish as a Second Language instruction (60%) and classroom teaching (40%). Your responsibilities as a teacher include: • plan, conduct, and evaluate your teaching in accordance with the school's governing documents and the curriculum for compulsory school (LGR22), individually and in teams • conduct adapted educational activities based on individual and group needs and conditions • actively contribute to developing our learning environment together with students and other staff. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is/has: • certification in Swedish as a Second Language for grades F-3 • teacher certification for grades 1-3 in at least mathematics, Swedish, social studies, science, technology, and English • strong knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing • good skills in using IT/digital technology It is a merit if you have documented experience in classroom instruction and in Swedish as a Second Language.
