About the Position
Våxtorpsskolan is a preschool-through-9th-grade school with approximately 400 students. In this position, you will work with grades 7-9.
In your role, you will teach Swedish and Social Studies to grades 7-9. You are responsible for planning, monitoring, and evaluating your instruction together with students and colleagues. You will also serve as a mentor for a class, working alongside a colleague.
At the school, development efforts focus on the core mission—instruction. Each subject area team works within their domain and evaluates and develops instruction together. Support functions at the school (student resources, safety personnel, administration, principal, leadership team, etc.) work to support teachers so they can focus on core instruction and contribute to safety and a productive learning environment for students.
Our philosophy is that if we feel good together as a work team, students will do better, and through this we create a school with strong results and a healthy work environment for everyone.
The school is phone-free, with clear rules in place that must be followed—all to create a good work environment for both staff and students and a calm, secure school.

You have a teaching degree with certification in Swedish and a social studies subject.

About the Employment
Number of positions: 1
Salary range: 38,925 kronor - 52,300 kronor.
Salary is based on experience and qualifications.
Start date: Immediately or by agreement. Interviews will be conducted continuously throughout the process.
