Folkuniversitetet in Varberg provides municipal adult education at upper secondary level, basic level, and Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) courses on behalf of Varberg Municipality. We are now recruiting dedicated and certified teachers in Swedish for Immigrants (SFI). The Position In our modern and bright facilities, we provide education for adults on behalf of Varberg Municipality. Our premises also host other Folkuniversitetet activities, such as adult education and labor market assignments, creating a creative and exciting work environment. Our SFI instruction covers all streams, and you will meet students with varying educational backgrounds. Your Competence and Background We are looking for you with teaching certification and strong subject knowledge. You have good digital competence and an interest in information and communication technology (ICT) and AI issues. It is important that you are accustomed to working independently and solution-focused, and have an interest in organizational development. As an educator at Folkuniversitetet, you are expected to have the ability to individualize instruction and bring out each student's potential. You should be flexible, responsive, and well-organized, and are expected to actively participate in the team's collaborative work. We also require that you share our view on equal human value and the right to knowledge. Employment Terms This is a permanent position with vacation benefits, starting immediately. The position is up to 100%, beginning with a 6-month probationary period.
