Together we continue to develop a municipality where it is good to live, reside, and work! Gullhögskolan is Vårgårda Municipality's secondary school with approximately 400 students. Here all of the municipality's young people come together to jointly complete the final stage of compulsory school. We are centrally located in Vårgårda and you can easily reach us from surrounding municipalities. Our school is a place to be proud of. Every day, just over 60 staff members work here for our wonderful students. We are organized in teams around three classes in the same grade level and in subject groups for collaboration and support in subject development. You will be part of the grade 8 team and the Swedish and Swedish as Second Language subject group. Together you are responsible for students' knowledge development. In addition to the school's teaching staff, we have a complete student support team with 1–2 people per profession. As an extension of the student support team, there is a special team that provides students with learning support and a social team that supports social development through recess activities, adult presence, work against bullying, and attendance efforts. We have our own facilities manager, a fantastic school cafeteria, an office, and a fine school library with a trained librarian in collaboration with a teacher assigned to the library. We also have a special education group, adapted primary education, a preparatory group, and we are responsible for native language instruction and study guidance at the municipality's primary schools. We focus on cognitive science regarding learning and instruction, reading in print, writing by hand, using recall in teaching, and ensuring that practical subjects remain practical to the greatest extent possible. Employment Type: Fixed-term contract. Duration: Start date: 2026-11-30, End date: 2027-12-17.
