Description The Lindholmen gymnasium area consists of Bräckegymnasiet, Center for Language Introduction, Ester Mosessons gymnasium, Lindholmens Technical Gymnasium, and Polhemsgymnasiet. We are now seeking a teacher for Center for Language Introduction (CSP) - a upper secondary school that offers language introduction programs and individual alternatives (IMA). The school provides students with the opportunity to complete their education to meet the eligibility requirements for national programs at the upper secondary level. Most of our students come from different parts of the world, which makes the school an exciting workplace. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a certified upper secondary teacher in Swedish as a second language and geography or religion. In your work, you should be clear, structured, and solution-oriented. Additionally, you need to have good social competence, great patience, and flexibility. You need to possess the ability to motivate and persuade as well as find new ways to help students reach their goals. To work with young people, it is important that you are a role model and a boundary-setting adult. You possess good pedagogical digital competence and use digital tools for planning, instruction, and feedback. You easily adapt your working methods to your target group and strive to develop new pedagogical and didactic methods. You have a genuine interest in young people and are responsive to students' different needs. You are flexible, enjoy being challenged in your teaching role, and find it easy to collaborate with new people. By being interested in creating understanding for others, you work toward a respectful work environment. You understand the shared mission, act based on it, and contribute to the development of the operation. You work effectively under stress, can balance different demands, and have a good ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
