Nordanstigs Municipality consists of several school locations with a total of approximately 900 students and a shared middle school in Bergsjö. Bergsjö School is a grades F–9 school with approximately 450 students. The Adapted Primary School grades 1–10 also operates in the same facilities.
Together we work toward higher goal achievement and a more equitable school. The Swedish National Agency for Education, Umeå University, SPSM, Mid Sweden University, and RUC-X are some of the partners we collaborate with to achieve this.

About the job
If you choose to join us, you will be part of a teaching team with several teachers who teach the same classes as you.
Daily work includes all tasks that are part of a teacher's assignment. Individually and together with your colleagues, you plan, carry out, evaluate, and ensure high-quality teaching that creates context and challenges students at the right level. You will, together with the school's staff, contribute to collegial learning. Teaching takes place in grades 6–9.
Personal qualities
As a person, you have good leadership abilities, understand people's different capacities for learning, and can adapt your teaching accordingly. You make students participate in planning and can make visible and further develop students' learning processes. You reflect on your work in a systematic way, both individually and together with your colleagues, and are committed to creating a safe learning environment with order, trust, and respect.
Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
