We are looking for you to work as a native language teacher and study guide in Spanish within primary school. The Unit for Native Languages and Newly Arrived is a workplace characterized by well-being and commitment. The unit currently consists of a unit manager, assistant unit manager, and approximately 45 educators. The work is conducted at one or several of the municipality's 12 primary schools and Upplands-Bro Gymnasium. Job Description The assignment as a native language teacher and study guide involves work within primary and upper secondary school. You are responsible for instruction, assessment, planning, and implementation of pedagogical work connected to governing documents and students' individual needs. In our unit, we place great emphasis on collaboration and co-planning across language boundaries. You participate in our collective development work at the unit together with your colleagues. You also collaborate with staff at the schools. You serve as a link between the knowledge and experiences students bring with them and the school they encounter here. You are an important part of the school's values-based work. Who We Are Looking For Native language instruction is a very important part of students' language development and goal achievement. Ideally, you have a pedagogical education as your foundation. We also see that you have: Spanish as a native language is a requirement. Experience in pedagogical work Good collaboration skills Very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing Good computer skills A solution-focused approach It is meritorious to have Swedish teacher certification and experience with a language-developing working method. Although you can travel by public transportation between schools, we prefer that you have access to your own car. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. The position requires a certificate from the police criminal record register. About the Position The position is time-limited until 270617 but may be extended.
