The Department of Education is responsible for, among other things, preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school. The responsibility also includes student health services, native language instruction, school transportation, and school meals. The Workplace The rector's area Trelleborg City Center consists of Liljeskolan F-9, Granlunda, and Solrosens preschools. The area is led by a rector together with four assistant rectors and an administrative director. Liljeskolan is an F-9 school with a middle school section of approximately 500 students. We create tools for future competencies. IT will increasingly be a pedagogical learning tool, and we are investing in raising educators' competence in line with the demands and opportunities of the future. The school is centrally located with good commuting options. Work Tasks As a teacher, you will teach our students Spanish and Swedish in grades 6–9. Together with your colleagues in the work team, you will create a good learning environment for each student. You work as part of a work team based on the clarified responsibility mandate expressed in the curriculum for primary school. This means that together with the rector and other colleagues, you lead and develop the daily life of the school for increased goal achievement. Qualifications We are looking for you who is a certified teacher of Spanish and Swedish for grades 6–9. We would like to see that you have experience working with school-age youth. You are passionate about your teaching role and bring good ideas about how we can develop instruction, engage with current research, and are ready to drive this forward together with your team! You are action-oriented, open to change, have a knack for bringing others along, and inspire innovative thinking. You are development-oriented and have good communication skills as well as the ability to see the bigger picture. You are a creative colleague who can offer students good learning environments. You build good relationships and have good interpersonal skills.
