Örnsköldsviks Gymnasium has two school buildings, Parkskolan and Nolaskolan. We have a total of over 1800 students distributed across five college preparatory programs and ten vocational programs, as well as introduction programs and adapted upper secondary school. Örnsköldsviks Gymnasium is designated as a practice school, which means VFU students are a regular part of the school. This position is located at Nolaskolan. The school is approximately 10-12 minutes' walk from Örnsköldsviks Norra railway station and about 15 minutes' walk from the travel center, so commuting from both north and south is feasible. Start date is Monday, August 17, but can also be arranged by agreement. Job Responsibilities You will teach Spanish and English. Your work includes teaching, planning, documentation, and ongoing contact with students and guardians. The position also involves participating in collaborative work with subject and working teams. Your responsibilities include mentoring a number of students. This includes significant responsibility for monitoring and supporting your mentees and actively participating in student welfare work. Qualifications We are looking for a qualified teacher at the upper secondary level with subject authorization in Spanish and English.
