The Education Department is responsible for all activities within the municipality's preschools, primary schools, adapted primary schools, after-school programs, high school, and adult education. Ekillaskolan is a grades 7–9 school in Märsta where we emphasize every student's right to receive instruction at a level adapted to them. DUTIES We are now seeking a teacher on a part-time basis, 50%, who wants to and can teach modern languages, Spanish. You work with the students' best interests in mind and you have a clear focus on student development. You thrive in a wonderfully dynamic environment and you stand confident in your pedagogical leadership in the classroom. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on Spanish instruction, both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues. You are expected – like your colleagues – to take an active role in developing both yourself and the team you are part of. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who holds teacher certification with authorization to teach Spanish up to grade 9. It is an advantage if you also have authorization in another subject. Experience teaching at the middle school level is also seen as a benefit. You are a clear and attentive leader who puts student knowledge development and safety at the center. You have an easy time creating good relationships with your students as well as with colleagues and guardians. You thrive in a changing environment while valuing structure and are able to plan and organize your work well.
