For the 26/27 academic year, we are seeking a Spanish teacher to teach grades 6-9. The position is part-time, 40-50%, scheduled for at least 2 days per week. We: -are a small independent preschool, primary school, and after-school care facility with approximately 150 children/students in total. -have approximately 130 students distributed across grades Pre-K through 9. -are bilingual. Our activities are characterized by both Swedish and Finnish languages. -are centrally located in Tumba, close to commuter trains and buses. You: -enjoy working with students of different ages, with different prerequisites and abilities. -understand that your work encompasses both students' academic and social development. -view relationship-building as an important part of your teaching. -structure your work based on given frameworks, contexts, needs, and goals. And are prepared for plans to need adjustment. -take your own initiative when appropriate and needed. -see collaboration with your colleagues as self-evident. -view all parts of the school (activities, students, staff, and guardians) as a whole. Where you are an important puzzle piece together with the rest of us. -ideally speak both Swedish and Finnish.
