Spanish Teacher at Djurö School Djurö School is one of four schools that are part of Värmdö Archipelago Schools' principal's area. In addition to Djurö School, Möja School, Runmarö School and Svartsö School are included. The principal's area's geographical area begins at Fågelbrolandet in Strömma, extends toward the sea and includes all islands without bridge connections. You will work at Djurö School, which is an F-9 school with approximately 300 students and is located on the mainland. Our vision: Here I get to be who I am, grow, develop and learn for life. Together we build bridges between islands, people and activities. You will mainly teach Spanish in grades 6-9. As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating instruction in the groups you teach. You collaborate closely on planning and student wellbeing with colleagues in your work team as well as other educators, school leaders and the student wellbeing team at Djurö. As a teacher in Värmdö Archipelago Schools, the mission is goal achievement for all students. We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in Spanish and preferably in one additional subject. You have well-documented experience of pedagogical work with students. You have a conscious pedagogical approach where student participation and responsibility are self-evident. It is important that you are confident in your professional role and that you are clear with children, parents and colleagues. We place great emphasis on social competencies and personal suitability. The position is a part-time position at 70-80% and is a permanent employment with start date August 11, 2026 or by agreement.
