You create an accessible and challenging learning environment for our students in grades 1–6 in both regular school and adapted school. Your duties include: Create varied instruction: As a music teacher, you design lessons where musical breadth, singing, playing, and creative work are adapted to each student group's unique needs and conditions. Integrate digital tools: You use digital tools as a natural part of your instruction to develop students' musical creativity and learning. Promote collaborative learning: You actively participate in discussions and experience-sharing with colleagues at both scheduled and spontaneous occasions to develop yourself and the operations. Collaborate and build relationships: You maintain close and good dialogue with guardians and colleagues regarding students' development and well-being. Your workplace Blästadskolan is a multifaceted operation consisting of primary school F-6, after-school program, special resource school with a focus on hearing impairment, adapted primary school 1-6, and after-school program. The school is located in the southern parts of Linköping and has nature nearby. The school grounds are adjacent to beautiful oak forests, nature areas, and open spaces that offer an inspiring environment for play and learning. The school has approximately 400 students and about 100 staff members. Blästadskolan's approach is based on a relational perspective that should permeate the operations. In a relational perspective, actions and environment are important to examine to understand how and why people encounter difficulties, as difficulties arise in situations. The focus is on shaping the learning environment and instruction so that it meets all students' different needs. The relational perspective is based on a democratic citizenship perspective, equal rights, participation, and an accessible society. Together, we create enjoyable learning situations where each student is given the opportunity to develop according to their individual conditions and abilities. Blästadskolan should be a school that provides security and good knowledge. At the school, co-planning for specialist teachers (physical education, music, and crafts) takes place once a week. About you First, we are looking for someone with teacher certification with qualifications to teach music in grades 1-6. Second, we are looking for someone with completed teacher education in music for grades 1-6. Alternatively, you are near the end of your teacher education program in music for grades 1-6. Alternatively, you have other post-secondary music education and a strong interest in pedagogy. It is a requirement that you have experience working in a curriculum-based school through internship or as an employee. It is meriting if you have taught in grades 1-6 for at least one school year. It is also meriting if you have experience with grading or documenting student learning during the school year. In your role as a teacher in grades 1-6, we expect you to have: Good knowledge of the school's mission and be well familiar with the curriculum (Lgr22) and other governing documents. Good communicative ability in spoken and written Swedish. This is because according to the curriculum (Lgr22 and Lgra 22) you should organize and conduct work so that the student receives support in their language and communication development. Since you are responsible for ensuring that each student can use the Swedish language in a rich and nuanced way. The ability to adapt your instruction to students and let them participate in shaping the instruction. A quality-conscious work approach that creates good conditions for students' development and learning and documents this. Well-functioning cooperation with colleagues, guardians, and other contacts in society that occur in your professional role, and you are a good role model for students.
