The Language Center works to give all preschool children, primary school and high school students in Mölndal City the opportunity to develop their multilingual competence. The unit is responsible for modern languages at four primary schools, study guidance and native language instruction in primary and secondary school, leads the development of Swedish as a second language, introduction of newly arrived students, support to the different school forms in their work with multilingual students, and leads work on developing multilingualism in preschool within the school administration. WORK TASKS As a native language teacher in Mölndal City, you provide native language instruction at primary school and/or high school level. You also provide study guidance at several of Mölndal City's schools. The assignment also includes conducting assessments of newly arrived students' knowledge and providing preschool children with orientation support. All native language teachers are part of a development group and teaching groups to ensure quality and development. QUALIFICATIONS - are a certified teacher - or have another academically relevant degree for the position - have very good knowledge of current governing documents, such as curriculum and course plans in native language - have experience in native language instruction - have good digital competence - have very good knowledge of Swedish and Korean, both spoken and written - good knowledge of additional languages is a merit Great importance is placed on personal suitability and a driver's license is an advantage.
