Själevad is beautifully located by the Moälven river, approximately 6 kilometers west of central Örnsköldsvik. For those new to the profession, Örnsköldsvik municipality offers an introduction program for new teachers, which means you will have a mentor during your first year. Your mentor is an experienced teacher with the same subject qualification who can guide and support you. Job Duties You will teach mathematics, technology, and natural sciences in grades 7-9 and will have overall responsibility for the student group and handle the documentation and communication that this entails. Contact and collaboration with guardians is an important part of the work. The assignment involves working with a team to plan, implement, and follow up on instruction. Qualifications We are seeking you with a teaching degree with subject qualification in mathematics, technology, and natural sciences or other experience that the employer deems appropriate. We are looking for someone who enjoys being challenged and thinking in new ways, who sees differences and diversity as a foundation for learning and development.
