Description Ytterbyskolan is now seeking experience and expertise in mathematics and science. We are Kungälvs largest middle school with 20 classes where we work together to create the best possible conditions for our students. You will be part of secure and stable work and subject teams with high qualifications. The school has a complete student support team that aims to support the team's processes. Over the coming school years, our shared focus will be directed toward developing our leadership and our individual adaptations in our classrooms. This is happening in parallel with the school undergoing renovation to be new and fresh by 2027. Our new science classrooms are being inaugurated this August. Duties You teach with guidance and stimulation for an accessible learning environment in your subject according to the current curriculum. You contribute expertise, innovation, systematic approach, and willingness to collaborate in the team's work with individual adaptations, safety, and study environment, and interdisciplinary collaborations. You act as a trusted adult in your role as mentor for a number of students. You work formatively with students' knowledge and continuously document in our shared tool Unikum. Qualifications We are looking for you with certification to teach grades 7-9 in mathematics and science. Learning for you occurs in trusting relationships and you collaborate professionally with our students' guardians. Knowledge of digital learning tools for students in need of support is seen as a merit. Great weight will be placed on personal qualities. Welcome to apply!
