About Amerikanska Gymnasiet, Stockholm - Campus Frescati Hage By Brunnsviken in the beautiful nature of Norra Djurgårdsstaden, we started a upper secondary school in autumn 2023. The school will enter its fourth school year in autumn and will then have approximately 500 students studying the Science, Economics or Social Sciences programs. Teaching is conducted in both English and Swedish by a competent teaching team with strong camaraderie. About the role We are looking for a teacher to teach our students mathematics. You are passionate about teaching and collegial collaboration and you want to be part of developing and creating consensus in mathematics teaching at the school. You will be responsible for planning, conducting, assessing and evaluating your own teaching. You are expected to lead lessons according to our pedagogical structure, which you will receive guidance in. You will work closely with an engaged and conscientious teaching team, where collaboration and collegial learning are a natural part of everyday life. You will teach in a digital environment with digital teaching materials in combination with traditional literature. Teaching takes place in both Swedish and English. The position also includes mentoring a class. The position is a permanent employment at 60%, which begins with a probationary period of 6 months. Start date 3 August 2026. Your profile The position requires a Swedish teacher credential and qualification to teach mathematics at upper secondary level. It is also highly desirable if you have experience teaching mathematics, preferably at upper secondary level.
