About Amerikanska Gymnasiet, Stockholm - Campus Frescati Hage On the shores of Brunnsviken in the beautiful Norra Djurgårdsstaden, we started a secondary school in the fall of 2023. The school enters its fourth school year in the fall and will then have approximately 500 students studying in the Science, Economics, or Social Sciences programs. Teaching is conducted in both English and Swedish by a competent teaching team with a strong sense of community. About the Role We are looking for a teacher to instruct our students in one or more of the following subjects: chemistry, natural science, and AI. First and foremost, we are seeking someone who can teach all of these subjects. You are warmly welcome to apply even if you can only teach one or a couple of the above-mentioned subjects. We are also currently hiring teachers in mathematics and physics, so if you wish to combine teaching with one of these subjects, please indicate that in your application. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, assessing, and evaluating your own instruction. You are expected to lead lessons based on our pedagogical framework, which you will receive guidance in. You will work closely with an engaged and committed teaching team, where collaboration and collegial learning are a natural part of daily work. You will teach in a digital environment with digital learning materials in combination with traditional literature. Teaching takes place in both Swedish and English. The position also includes mentorship of a class. The position is a permanent employment, either full-time or part-time, depending on which subjects you can teach. The employment begins with a 6-month probationary period. Start date: August 3, 2026, or by agreement. Your Profile The position requires a Swedish teaching certificate and qualifications to teach chemistry, natural science, and/or AI at the secondary level. It is also highly meritorious if you have experience teaching these subjects, preferably at the secondary level.
