Ref: 20261761 We at Universitetsholmens gymnasium are seeking a teacher to provide instruction in physical education and health as well as Swedish as a second language at the upper secondary level. You support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet learning objectives based on their individual circumstances. Your work includes planning, instruction, and assessment, as well as evaluation and development of educational activities, in accordance with the school's governing documents. Together with colleagues, you work to create a good learning and work environment for both students and staff. You also contribute to quality and development initiatives at the school. Qualifications Requirements: Teacher certification Eligibility to teach physical education and health at the upper secondary level Experience using digital tools for communication and pedagogy Strong knowledge of the school's objectives and governing documents Excellent Swedish, both spoken and written. Meritorious: Eligibility to teach Swedish as a second language at the upper secondary level, or alternatively eligibility to teach another subject at the upper secondary level deemed relevant by the employer Experience teaching the relevant subject Experience in other teaching or pedagogical work. We are looking for someone who is confident in the teaching role and creates favorable conditions for students' learning and development. You adapt instruction to the students' and group's circumstances and prior knowledge through a creative approach and very strong pedagogical abilities. Your work is characterized by good organization, and you prioritize and manage tasks efficiently. Furthermore, you contribute to strong collaboration and communicate openly, clearly, and attentively with those around you. You also understand how students' backgrounds, cultures, and group membership affect learning, and you create an inclusive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed.
