Job Responsibilities As a teacher for grades 6-9, your main task is to develop students' knowledge and abilities based on the curriculum's goals and each student's individual needs and conditions. The position includes teaching in home and consumer science corresponding to 50%. The remaining part of the position is structured based on the needs of the operation and the applicant's subject qualifications, which means that teaching in one or more additional subjects may be included. You plan, implement, and follow up on instruction by formulating goals, choosing methods and teaching materials, and creating an accessible and stimulating learning environment. Together with the students, you evaluate the instruction to promote their knowledge development and participation. As a teacher, you actively work to develop the quality of instruction and contribute to the school's collegial learning and continued development. Qualifications We are looking for you with teacher certification for grades 4-9 in home and consumer science, and preferably one or more additional subjects, ideally mathematics or Swedish as a second language. We are looking for someone who is independent and self-directed with a good ability to plan, implement, and develop instruction based on students' needs and the curriculum's goals. You have good pedagogical insight and adapt instruction, interactions, and working methods to create the best possible conditions for students' learning and development. You have good collaboration skills and actively contribute to collegial work. At the same time, you are relationship-building and establish trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
