We are looking for an engaged and confident teacher of home economics and consumer studies who wants to help create a stimulating, structured, and inclusive learning environment for our students. As a teacher of home economics and consumer studies, you are responsible for instruction in grades 6-9. You plan, implement, and evaluate instruction with a focus on student learning, creativity, and development. The position involves close collaboration with colleagues and active participation in the school's overall quality improvement work. We view it positively if you have certification in another primary school subject. We are looking for someone who: Holds a certification/license as a teacher of home economics and consumer studies for primary school. Has confident and clear classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with students. Teaches with clarity, structure, and predictability. Provides varied instruction that meets students' different needs and circumstances. Has a conscious and professional approach to assessment, where formative assessment and clear learning objectives are a natural part of instruction. Is responsible, flexible, and contributes to a positive work environment. Other Information This is a permanent position (40%), with a 6-month probationary period starting Fall 2026.
