Kunskapsskolan Enköping is a primary school for grades 4-9 and currently has approximately 550 students. The school was founded in 2001, and in 2020 we moved into brand new state-of-the-art facilities a stone's throw from the railway station and bus terminal. For every student to reach their full potential, we need skilled teachers with great commitment to student success. At Kunskapsskolan, we always put the individual at the center, and therefore we seek someone who actively works to help your students succeed.
At Kunskapsskolan, we have a strong team-based approach where we share both challenges and successes. You are never alone with difficulties and questions, whether in subject instruction or when working with individual students or groups. We help each other plan work in our subject and work teams. Communication between teachers is open, and we share responsibility for our students.
The home economics kitchen has 6 cooking stations, and instruction takes place in small groups of 10-12 students. You will have a home economics colleague and will also be part of our wonderful PREST team, which consists of teachers in crafts, visual arts, and music.
We have a digital portal, Kunskapsporten, where each subject area offers suggestions for teaching methods, assignments, and useful links. All our students have access to their own Chromebook.
Qualifications
We seek a certified Home Economics teacher for grades 6-9. You should be well-versed in LGR-22 and formative assessment.
Meritorious Qualifications
We would appreciate it if you have several years of teaching experience. Most importantly, we want someone who collaborates easily with colleagues, students, and guardians and is solution-focused.
We greatly value your commitment, pedagogical expertise, and ability to establish and build positive relationships. We want someone who is stable and trustworthy and can create confidence in students.
Position Structure
This is a permanent full-time (100%) position.
