The Department of Children and Education in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to higher education, and is also responsible for Swedish for immigrants (sfi) and civic orientation for newly arrived residents. DUTIES
As a teacher in the after-school program, you are responsible, together with your colleagues, for planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work at your workplace. You are well-versed in the after-school program's curriculum and accustomed to working with current goals and quality standards within the after-school program's activities. You are a good role model and follow the norms and values specified in the curriculum, contributing to implementing and fulfilling the after-school program's mission with good quality. Your task is to promote each student's learning and development, as well as to create the best conditions for students, guardians, and colleagues to feel comfortable and secure in the school's and after-school program's activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a certified after-school teacher or trained leisure-time pedagogue. We would appreciate it if you have experience with similar work in after-school programs.

You are calm and attentive in your interactions, which helps you create good and trusting relationships with both students and adults. You have a talent for collaborating with others and work to create an open and unpretentious collaborative climate where innovative thinking is encouraged and where everyone takes shared responsibility for achieving set goals.
You have a creative talent and are happy to contribute thoughts and ideas that you also put into practice to develop both daily work and the activities as a whole. In that work, you are also mindful of creating participation and engagement among both colleagues and students, and you encourage others to dare to take initiative, thus helping those around you to grow and develop. Furthermore, we see that you are a communicative person with the ability to convey information in a clear but also pedagogical way, adapting your communication based on the recipient's needs and current situation.
