Description Torslanda School is an F-6 school with approximately 400 students. The school is brand new and located in central Torslanda. Despite the central location, we have close access to forest and nature. We are now seeking two teachers for our after-school programs for younger age groups. As we expand the school with more students, we need to hire more after-school program teachers. In our after-school program, you will develop and conduct pedagogical work with younger children. Job Responsibilities As a teacher in our after-school program, you will work to develop and conduct pedagogical activities together with a team consisting of both primary school teachers and after-school program teachers. You believe it is important to create conditions for all children so they get good development in a stimulating environment where play and curiosity are in focus. Qualifications We are seeking a qualified and certified after-school program teacher. You have experience in pedagogical work with children where you have independently and in groups planned, implemented, and evaluated activities. You are experienced in collaborating with different teachers/teams and you are skilled at communicating with parents. You fully share the values reflected in the curriculum. Children's learning is your focus and you have experience working goal-oriented. You are passionate about providing children with meaningful after-school time and base your planning on their needs and interests. Creating good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues is self-evident to you. You understand the importance of children's play and movement for learning. You are also flexible and take initiative easily. Other important skills include creating a good work climate, having a calm approach to interactions, and enjoying working with people.
