Description:

Do you want to provide our students with a meaningful leisure time experience and drive the development of our activities? With us, you work inclusively with our motto "the school where all students reach their full potential." Welcome to us! Your Responsibilities As a leisure time teacher, your starting point is to work with planning, instruction, evaluation, and values-based education based on the curriculum. The work is conducted both independently and in collaboration with colleagues. As a leisure time teacher, you see the student's entire school day as important and therefore collaborate with both guardians and colleagues regarding the student. You work as a resource in the classroom during the school day, and currently the position is placed in grade 3. As part of this collaboration, the leisure time program and school activities work together to achieve higher goal fulfillment and create the best conditions for each student. You work from the student group you meet and are expected to create varied and challenging instruction. Using digital tools is a natural part of your teaching. You promote collegial learning through discussion and reflection during both planned and spontaneous occasions. To support student learning as well as your own and the organization's development, you draw on the experiences and knowledge of various professions. In this role, you become the responsible leisure time teacher in your department where you are responsible for pedagogical planning and development of the activities. You also participate in the school's development group for the leisure time program, where you work with colleagues to drive and develop the activities forward. Your Workplace Welcome to us at Slestadsskolan! We are an F-6 school with approximately 320 students and 60 employees located in the Lambohov district in Linköping. There is also a municipally shared resource school with a focus on autism grades 1-6 with its own leisure time program. The school is located near fine surroundings with a large schoolyard and access to the Lambohov district playground. We actively work with students' safety and well-being at school and in the leisure time program. Clear leadership, collaboration, and a positive view of students are our guiding principles. At the school there are four leisure time program departments for grades F-3. The work group at each department consists of 4 employees. Our open leisure activities for grades 4-6 are run by Sportis in nearby facilities adjacent to Lambohovshallen. About You First and foremost, we are looking for you who have a teacher's certificate with qualifications in leisure time education. Second, we are looking for you with a diploma or completed training as a leisure time teacher. Alternatively, you are near the end of your training as a leisure time teacher. It is an advantage if you have qualifications to teach in multiple subjects, based on the organization's needs. It is a requirement that you have experience as a teacher in curriculum-based leisure time programs, through internship or as an employee. It is an advantage if you have worked as a leisure time teacher for at least one school year, and if you have worked with students within the autism spectrum. In your role as a leisure time teacher, you have good knowledge of the school's mission and are well familiar with the curriculum (Lgr22) and other governing documents. You have good communicative skills in speaking and writing in the Swedish language. This is so that according to the curriculum (Lgr22) you can organize and carry out the work so that the student receives support in their language and communication development. You are responsible for ensuring that each student can use the Swedish language in a rich and nuanced way. As a leisure time teacher, you are a good role model. You have the ability to adapt your instruction to the students and let them participate in shaping the instruction. In a quality-conscious way, you create good conditions for the student's development and learning and document it. You collaborate well with colleagues, guardians, and other contacts in society that appear in your professional role.
