The Education Department is responsible for preschool, pedagogical childcare, after-school programs, preschool class, primary school, adapted primary school, secondary school, adapted secondary school, adult education, adult education with special focus, Swedish for immigrants (SFI), youth center, open preschool, and culture school. Preschool and after-school program activities are available at all seven F-6 schools, distributed geographically across the municipality. Altorpskolan, the municipality's only 7-9 school, welcomes students from all our F-6 schools and is strategically located in central Herrljunga. Kunskapskällan, the municipality's secondary school, is also located in Herrljunga town. Mörlandaskolan is centrally located in Annelund/Ljung and has approximately 100 students from preschool class through 6th grade. JOB DUTIES As an after-school program teacher at Mörlandaskolan, you will help create a safe, stimulating, and meaningful after-school activity program where students thrive, develop, and have the opportunity to try new activities. Do you want to help develop our after-school program by challenging students in their play and offering various activities that spark curiosity? Do you want to work in an after-school program with renovated, functional facilities? Do you want to work at a school where we believe students will do the right thing if given the right conditions? A school where the principal has completed the first principal training program offered for after-school programs and where the student welfare team works closely with after-school staff. QUALIFICATIONS You must have teacher certification with qualifications to teach in after-school programs. We would also like you to be qualified and interested in teaching music. You are a confident and dedicated educator who builds positive relationships with both students and colleagues. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and take responsibility for creating a structured and well-planned program. You have clear and present leadership where you inspire students to dare to try new things and develop. You enjoy collaborating, contributing to the bigger picture, and working long-term on program development. You understand the value of creating a safe, learning-rich, and joyful daily experience for students. You see digital tools as a natural part of your work. Employment Type: Permanent position.
