Together, we can make a difference every day. Your New Job We are now seeking an engaged after-school teacher who wants to help develop our after-school program. You are an important part of our work to create a safe, creative, and learning environment for our students. You plan and lead educational activities in the after-school program, work to foster good relationships and an inclusive climate. As an after-school teacher, you are the person who will both support students in their schoolwork and in the after-school program, thereby gaining a complete picture of how the student and group function during both school hours and in the after-school activities. Collaboration with the school's other staff, Student Support Team, and students' guardians is important to ensure that students have the opportunity to develop as fully as possible. Learning can happen in many ways and all students are different and have different needs. The need to adapt activities to meet everyone is a large and important responsibility. An important part of the position is being active during students' breaks, where you will conduct break activities or support students in need of support. Typical Work Tasks Plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities in the after-school program. Support students' social development, collaboration, and independence. Work actively with values, safety, and relationship building. Collaborate with teachers and other staff regarding the student's entire school day. Participate in classroom support. Conduct break-time activities. Maintain ongoing dialogue with guardians and contribute to good relationships. Your Competence Licensed after-school educator/primary teacher in after-school program. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and can use various digital systems commonly used in schools. You have good knowledge of the after-school program's guiding documents and can implement them in daily work. Your view of students aligns with the curriculum's values-based intentions. Meritorious It is meritorious to have experience in driving development work and leading work teams. We Are Looking for You! You are driven by pedagogical challenges and dare to challenge yourself and your colleagues to think about development. You have an empathetic ability to understand students' needs and meet them where they are, and to listen to, encourage, stimulate, and challenge them to develop further. We also see that you are flexible and can find new solutions. You are self-motivated and confident in your pedagogical leadership and have a good ability to build relationships with both students and colleagues.
