JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Would you like to make a difference in children's development and learning every day? Kvarndammskolan is an F-6 school with an attached after-school program in Hovmantorp. Approximately 320 students attend here, and together we work to create a safe, developing, and inspiring learning environment where each student has the opportunity to succeed based on their abilities. The school is centrally located in the community with proximity to forests, parks, and lakeside environments, which provides good opportunities for learning and outdoor activities. As a teacher in the after-school program, you are responsible, together with your colleagues, for planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing the after-school program's educational activities based on the curriculum's objectives. You work to create a meaningful and stimulating after-school experience that complements school instruction and contributes to students' social, emotional, and academic development. We are looking for an engaged and responsible educator with a good ability to build relationships, collaborate with others, and meet students' diverse needs. You are confident in your leadership, work in a structured manner, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • is a certified teacher in after-school programs • has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written • has the ability to plan, implement, and develop instruction based on curriculum and policy documents • works to build relationships and has an inclusive approach • has good collaboration skills and contributes to the development of the program We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
